Carry your newborn through preschooler comfortably on your front, hip or back in our stunning batik wraps. Sea turtles swim along either edge of this wrap, with a shining star spanning the center. The beautiful image of the mermama holding her toddler in the center was designed especially for Gypsy Mama. It adds a special touch to the very center of your wrap, right where the image of such a child should be -- love is at the center of our parenting journey. I call this "Morgaine" after the goddess of the sea, and after my beautiful daughter, who first began my own parenting and babywearing journey.

All of our batiked wraps were designed by Gypsy Mama, LLC. They are hand-batiked by artists in Indonesia in the open air using a very labor-intensive process using non-toxic dyes on a sturdy, 100% cotton gauze, then sewn in the US.

Each has a label marking the center of the wrap and an innovative pocket at the end of the carrier that stores the wrap in a tidy bundle when not in use. This wrap is wide enough to securely carry even a tiny baby on your back, yet lightweight enough to wear on hot days, compact enough to tuck in your bag, and comfortable enough to carry your child for hours.
